Script for Market to Restaurant Transformation

An American young man, Shaun, has traveled to Italy on a work permit to stay in a local villa and learn the Italian language while being submersed into the Italian culture. Shaun works with a close friend at a fish market in Napoli, Italy, running the registers and tossing and loading the different fishes, while organizing the rest of the market items. He has attracted the attention of many local Italian girls and has built a reasonable gossip around town, concerning his affairs. One day he is abruptly confronted with an exhausted and terrified, yet beautiful young woman. The local woman, Carla, was livid with fright, as her mother had dropped down inside their family owned restaurant down the street. Shaun has become mesmerized and instantly in love with this Italian beauty and rushes to aid her mother. After assisting in her mother’s care, Shaun is graced with much gratitude. He continues to return to the restaurant in attempts to please Carla, as he is overwhelmingly drawn to her, but he receives nothing but troubles. Carla is aware of his popularity among the women and is determined not to fall suit of his reputation. Meanwhile, Carla’s mother offers much in the form of culinary education and comedic relief. Shaun becomes frustrated after weeks of attempts. He has been told of a local shaman with special romantic powers in the neighboring town and decides to please his own curiosity. Upon meeting the Shaman he receives a bouquet of mystical roses, which will turn the receiver immediately in love with the one who originally possesses. Upon return to the restaurant Shaun leaves the roses, set to be attained by Carla, only to find the next day that the roses have been equipped by the mother. The only way to reverse this catastrophe is a true kiss by the one he really desires. Therefore he has his friend take the mother out on a friendly night, and prepares a romantic evening for a whole night with Carla. Shaun romances all night and caps the night off with a winning kiss.
