So now that I finally figured out how to put pictures up (haha) I am finally posting my collage that I did ages ago. So basically I started out with I totally different idea than I finished with. I wanted to show not only visual perception, but theoretical perception as well. In the foreground was going to very natural and full of life and as it faded into the distance, it would become more industrial and less beautiful, with a gray sun setting behind and line of toilet seats (which is still in the final image) and a smoggy city. But now the whole piece shows both beauty in nature and how we've destroyed it. There are dead frogs in the foreground next to a Peruvian woman, who would be the human archetype of living off the land and benefitting from and appreciating nature.
